Do you participate in your own rescue?

Do you participate in your own rescue? Or are you waiting for that ‘knight in shining armour’ to rescue you?

We all have challenges within our businesses, whether those challenges are cash flow, managing challenging team members, pricing your products, or getting new customers.

I don’t know about you but I often spend time researching how those challenges can be solved on the internet, and before I know it hours have gone by and I’ve gone down a rabbit hole of information.  Everything you ever need to know can now be found on the internet or in books, and hours and hours can pass looking for the perfect solution.

Unfortunately, while lots of answers can be found on the internet, they won’t solve your business problems – and can leave you feeling worse than before you started.

And you may find a piece of software that promises to solve all of your problems, but I can promise you that signing up for the latest app or tool will not help either.

IT WON’T GO AWAY BY SUBSCRIBING TO A PIECE OF SOFTWARE OR BY READING ABOUT THE ANSWERS ON THE INTERNET.

Your problem will still remain there, no matter how much research you do on the internet, and no matter what product or service you subscribe to.  There is no ‘knight in shining armour’ that is going to come along and wave their sword around and magically make all of your business problems go away.

The only way that those business problems will be solved is by YOU TAKING ACTION and making those changes happen.

Making changes and taking the action you need to can be scary to start with and means that you often have to step out of your comfort zone, but unless you start to make the change nothing will happen.

Working with a business coach can really help you to make the changes that you need to, as having someone that you are accountable to can really help you to take action.  Here at AVN, we have Practice Growth Experts that work with Accountants in Practice to help you to take the action that you need to.
